Every year, the Ouagadougou Partnership’s Annual Meeting is a key event for our community: a forum for dialogue, taking stock, looking ahead and, above all, collective action to promote access to family planning and reproductive health in our countries.
The choice of Guinea as the host country reflects the collective recognition of the remarkable progress made in recent years in the areas of family planning and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Thanks to sustained political commitment, the leadership of the Ministry of Health, the mobilisation of partners and the involvement of communities, the country has made significant progress in improving its reproductive health indicators and in ensuring that women and young people have access to high-quality services.
Beyond these results, Guinea illustrates our countries’ ability to turn challenges into opportunities and to accelerate progress towards better health and greater well-being for women, girls and families.
#RAPO2026 will be an opportunity to highlight these successes, share lessons learnt and strengthen regional cooperation to pursue our shared ambition: to ensure that every woman and every young person has the opportunity to make informed choices about their reproductive health.
Guinea has set up an online platform for applying for an electronic visa, commonly known as an e-visa, to facilitate entry into the country. The new service allows people to apply for a visa for Guinea from the comfort of their own home or office. Please refer to the visa application guidelines here.
NB: Submitting an online e-visa application does not guarantee that a visa will be granted. Your application may be accepted or refused by the authorities, and no refunds will be given. The administration charges a processing fee to handle the visa application. This fee is retained by the administration, even if the visa is refused.
Processing time: on average 72 working hours from the date the application is submitted. However, this does not apply to European Union nationals, for whom the processing time is 45 days.
